Foley sound effects are noises in the film that are made by people and they are sounds of real things, they are used to make the sounds in the film clearer and more realistic so that it stands out.
3) What is ADR and why is it used?
ADR is where the dialogue in the film is replaced by the actors repeating everything said in a movie; in a soundbooth and putting it back in. It is used to make the voices louder and clearer so the audience can hear it better.
4) What is the art of sound design?
Sound design is where sounds are created for things that don't really exist in a movie, so a sound has to be invented.
